Dear Friends -
Lots of good news this month! My first book, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Psychic Intuition, has been updated and revised and is out in a third edition! You can find it in bookstores now or read more about it at my website!
Carla Cataldo from my Facebook Fan Page won a copy of the book for entering our contest in June. Congratulations, Carla!
In the spirit of this month's theme, "the best is yet to come!" I would love to hear about a goal you have set for yourself. Share it on Facebook and be entered to win an autographed copy of "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Psychic Intuition." Enter today!
I also recorded a new Intuition Tips video entitled, "Just Three Steps a Day." Many of my clients tell me this is one of their favorite intuition development techniques. Watch it now!
Hold the dates! On October 12 - 14 I'll be in Keystone, CO (near Denver) to give a talk on Divine Intuition (and have fun!) at Camp Experience. I have attended Camp several times over the past years and it is a life changing experience. As the website says, "It's 2 ½ Days of Education, Inspiration and Networking That Will Change Your Life...and the Lives of Others!" I hope you'll join me there.
In gratitude,

Ask Lynn: I Don't Know What I Want to Be When I Grow Up! |
Dear Lynn, I'm a 42 year-old single parent who has worked very hard to raise my kids and get them into college. It's finally hitting me at this stage of my life that I have no idea what I WANT. I've spent so much time taking care of everyone else, I don't know where to begin. How do I figure this out and where do I start? Can intuition help?
- Margaret
Dear Margaret:
I've always envied those individuals who knew exactly what they wanted to be when they grew up. There were kids in my high school class who knew they were destined to have careers as veterinarians, accountants, nurses or lawyers. I think those folks are rare. Most of us struggle with this question throughout our lives. We try to come up with a specific occupation that will satisfy all our needs at all stages of our life.
But what's not so rare, is knowing what we're drawn to. It's almost as if there were a blueprint somewhere deep in our souls that lays out the best plan for our unfolding. It might be an interest that causes us to read any and all books on a certain topic. It could be a hobby we do in our spare time. Our calling might present itself as an issue we feel passionately about. As surprising as it may seem, most of us have a pretty good sense of our passion when we're children. We've just forgotten it and gone ahead and done things that are practical, logical and rational with our lives...like raising our kids!
Most people ask the wrong questions, "How can I make the most money?" "What job could I choose that I'd be happy with for the rest of my life?" "What career would have the most job security?" Sometimes we ask questions that are too general, "What should I do when I grow up?" Understandably, we want quick, sure-fire answers to these questions. It doesn't usually work that way. Be prepared for some stops and starts as you may meet with detours and diversions as you move forward. They're part of the learning and discerning cycle!
I've often joked that I wish we were born with a little instruction guide that, if followed, would lead to a successful life. It took me many years to understand that, in fact, intuition was that guide I was seeking. Instead of written instructions, God provided His wise direction for our calling to come through our still, quiet inner voice. Often all we need to do is ask...
Following are some questions to get you started. You might want to grab your journal and carve out a few hours over the next several weeks or months to really tune into your intuition and allow it to guide you. There are no wrong answers. Some of the questions will call to you more than others. Respond to those first. Like the puzzle analogy above, don't try to figure out the larger picture for now. It will become clear as you use these questions as a starting point. As you write, pay attention to any messages of "quiet excitement," peace, calm or confidence. These are ways your intuition has of communicating something of importance.
Here are the questions...

I love the painting I call the "Prosperity Angel." View it here.
Lately I love the great horoscopes and articles from The Daily Om.
Many of you are fans of Esther Hicks, otherwise known as "Abraham." Did you know she has a collection of inspirational quotes that changes daily? Here's one from earlier this week:
"You are the owner of all that you perceive. But you can't perceive apart from your vibration. Feel your way, little-by-little, into a greater sense of abundance by looking for the treasures that the Universe is offering you on a day-to-day basis."
You may have picked up an issue of the new Spirituality and Health Magazine. But have you checked out their wonderful resources online? Lots of great quotes, resources and techniques!
