Parent - Teacher Conferences for Elementary and Middle Schools - Week of November 5th In preparation for your Parent-Teacher Conference here are some tips to consider:
- Think about your child's strengths and challenges,
- Review his/her schoolwork, and
- Talk with your child about school.
A good way to approach the conference is as a two-way conversation. Like all good conversations, parent-teacher conferences are best when both people talk and listen. The conference is a time for you to learn about your child's progress in school. But it is also a time for the teacher to learn about what your child is like at home. When you tell the teacher about your child's skills, interests, needs, and aspirations, the teacher can help your child more. Please check your school schedule for early release times. There is no school for students Friday, November 9 or Monday, November 12. Family Guides to grades K-5 report cards |
