When summer ends, and children go back to school, it can feel like a break for some parents. However, there's a good chance that your child will miss a day or two of school throughout the year due to illness or another important reason. For many parents this means that they will have to miss work to care for their child. Luckily for Portland parents, that now will likely not mean missing a day's worth of income.
