Summer is a time of opportunity. The opportunity to sleep a little later, read a good book, try something new, and practice skills needed to succeed in school. Thanks to your support, FLITE is able to extend summer enrichment opportunities to hundreds of T/E students who would not experience them otherwise.
  • FLITE funds are used to purchase summer reading books at both T/E middle schools and the Easttown Library. These programs ensure that all T/E students have access to required summer reading books so that they may fully participate in classroom activities and discussions in the fall.
  • FLITE supports summer reading for our youngest readers through Reading Adventure Packs. These instructional aids are given to registered T/E pre-kindergarteners and provide quality, age appropriate reading materials and activities.
  • FLITE offers tuition assistance to a number of local summer educational camps. Through these camps, students are offered a variety of enriching academic, leadership and creative arts opportunities.

Please help our T/E students who seek summer enrichment by sending a donation to FLITE. Your donation will help students most vulnerable to summer slide so that they return to school ready to succeed.

FLITE is grateful for you and your continued support of our mission to help kids. Wishing you a happy, healthy and enriching summer!

With gratitude,

Rachel Gibbs

FLITE, Chair

P.S. If your student requires summer reading books, or financial assistance to attend an educational camp, please contact your school guidance counselor for program participation criteria and information.

Attention Golfers, CHS Graduates, and Reunion Committees:

Please mark your calendars for Sunday, September 13th for the Annual

This is a great chance to get together with CHS alumni and friends while supporting FLITE at the same time. If you are celebrating a reunion this fall, consider adding this event to your celebration plans. All classes are welcome.

FLITE would like to acknowledge C.A.S.E, Conestoga Alumni Supporting Excellence for its long standing support. Over the last seven years, this exemplary group of CHS alumni has raised almost $35,000 to fund FLITE Programs. Thank you C.A.S.E!!

C.A.S.E is recruiting members from all classes to continue this tradition of "Moving forward, by giving back" to the T/E Schools. This is an easy way to have some fun and contribute to the success of current students in the District. For more information, go to www.conestoga-case.org.
