Greetings!

This fall, donations to FLITE are helping many children in Tredyffrin/Easttown Schools, especially those who face barriers to their educational success, get a great start in school.
  • Currently 119 students are receiving regular academic support in After School Homework Programs at TESD's five elementary schools and two middle schools, with bus transportation home. Teachers report that students' participation in after school programs is beneficial to academic achievement and social adjustment.
  • Within our district, 12 children are now attending preschool thanks to the Preschool Tuition Assistance Program funded by FLITE. Research has shown that access to high quality preschool improves educational performance and outcomes.
  • Nearly 150 T/E students started school this fall with new backpacks and/or flash drives provided through the T&E Care School Supplies Program supported by FLITE.
  • More than 200 students are using graphing calculators required for Algebra, Geometry and other advanced math classes through the FLITE-funded Graphing Calculators Program.
  • Through the FLITE-funded Music in Our Schools Program, 22 schoolchildren are now learning, practicing and performing music on instruments they would not have otherwise. This opportunity can foster a love of music, creative expression and student confidence.

Thank you for supporting a great start to the school year for so many local children through these and many other programs funded by FLITE. Every day, these students are growing in preschool, proudly carrying new school supplies and instruments, and receiving the after school homework support they need.
Donations truly are changing lives through education in our community.

I volunteer for FLITE because FLITE is making a difference for these students and others like them everyday. Although we live in a relatively affluent school district, some of our students can't afford musical instruments, calculators or preschool. I'm proud to donate my time and money to an organization that provides kids with opportunities, support and academic tools and programs that can help them succeed.

As always, thank you for your interest in and support of FLITE.

Conestoga Central League Champion Golfers & C.A.S.E. Alumni
On Sunday, September 14th at Downingtown Country Club, golfers, including Stoga Varsity Golf team members and some "more seasoned" graduates, enjoyed a beautiful day on the golf course with all proceeds benefiting FLITE. Many thanks to Conestoga golf coach Kevin Pechin for his role in organizing golfers and auction items for this great event. And, as always, kudos to this dedicated group of Conestoga graduates who golf for FLITE every year.

Thinking About Holiday Gifts? Honoring Your Favorite Teacher Has Never Been Easier!

FLITE Staff Tributes are a great way to recognize the efforts of a special T/E employee and to honor those who have made a difference in your child's education.

Our teachers love them:

"It was an honor to learn about the FLITE donations made in my name. Realizing that parents notice our efforts was very rewarding and motivating to me professionally."

"FLITE tributes are very special. First, it's nice to be remembered by current and former students. It's an honor for sure. Also, it feels great knowing that the donation is going to an important organization that will help kids in our district succeed."
