Stanford Study of Heart Health
Researchers at the Stanford School of Medicine, including Center on Longevity Faculty Affiliate Michael McConnell, professor of cardiovascular medicine, have launched a first-of-its-kind iPhone app as an easy-to-use research tool to enable users to help advance the understanding of the health of the human heart. The MyHeart Counts app will collect data about physical activity and cardiac risk factors for Stanford scientists studying the prevention and treatment of heart disease. Read more >>>

Design Challenge Finals Event
The Center on Longevity is hosting the 2015 Design Challenge Finals on Thursday April 9th. This year’s eight finalist teams were chosen from 41 entries representing 11 countries that submitted their designs to “Enable Personal Mobility Across the Life Span.” The day’s events will include talks by Stanford faculty and a panel of industry representatives.
