Adapting to an Aging Workforce 2014
With the support of Marsh & McLennan Companies, the Center hosted the second of two conferences on "Adapting to an Aging Workforce." Conclusions drawn from discussions at the April 2013 conference, and reinforced at the January 2014 conference, show that employers are beginning to seriously consider the challenges and opportunities of an aging workforce.

Wisdom and Aging
In a recent article featured in The New York Times titled "The Science of Older and Wiser," Laura Carstensen, Stanford Psychology Professor and Founding Director of the Center, is among the experts interviewed. Carstensen emphasizes that emotional regulation is a key component of wisdom.
