The Kyndle Fire Pit Pitch Contest & Business Expo will feature displays, giveaways, samples, a cash bar and general information from dozens of area business, agencies and organizations. Admission is FREE for the public!
Kyndle will be hosting it's "Fire Pit Pitch Contest" at 6 p.m. during the expo. Hopeful entrepreneurs who have recently completed Kyndle's first "Entrepreneur Boot Camp" will have the opportunity to pitch their developed business plans to a panel of professional judges and you can watch!

Pink-Out
October 17 at UCHS - "Celebrate My Drive" event, which encourages teens to make positive choices as they start driving will be hosting a tailgating event at this October 17, 2014 game as well. State Farm, Carrie Devine and LINKS Family Resource Youth Service Center will be encouraging people to vote between October 15, 2014 through October 24, 2014. This event is an opportunity to strengthen relationships with the school and families in Union County.

MCLEAN COUNTY EVENTS
Haunted Trails
The Calhoun Lions Club will be sponsoring the yearly Haunted Trail Wagon Ride this year. It all starts at 7:30 on Friday and Saturday nights at Myer Creek Park. The wagon ride through the haunted trails is $5 with proceeds going to the Calhoun Summer Recreation Fund. Open to the public - come join in the fun.
Turkey Shoot and Chili Challenge
The Sacramento Lions Club is sponsoring its annual Fall turkey shoot, starting at 8 a.m. Nov. 1 at the Sacramento Lions Community Center. Ammunition will be furnished. The chili cookoff challenge will be held in conjunction with the turkey shoot. If you make a good chili, bring a pot of it, and let others tell you with a donation vote that yours is the best. The chili receiving the most money will be declared the winner. Concessions of hot dogs and chili will be available for lunch along with crackers, condiments and drinks. Come enjoy this event. Hone up your shooting skills and be ready for deer season.
