110th Anniversary of the Henderson County Public Library

All events are free and open to the public. The original Main St. entrance will be open to visitors during the entire course of the 10-day celebration. 110th Anniversary Reception Friday, August 1, 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Celebrate with library staff, trustees, and special guests from the community in the HCPL Rotunda! Enjoy refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library. Meet founding librarian Miss Susan Towles (aka Bookmobile Manager, Amber Potts).

110th Anniversary Family Day
Sunday, August 10, 2:00 p.m.
Celebrate 110 years with a day of fun for the whole family! The staff will share a time capsule they created to be opened in 2029. Families will be able to take a capsule home to create their own. Enjoy popcorn and other refreshments while you tour local history exhibits and shop the Friends of the Library Book Sale. The Tri-State's Country Station 99.5 WKDQ will be broadcasting LIVE from the Library!
