Kyndle to host
Candidates Forum
|
Tuesday May 6, 6 p.m. at the Ramada Inn in Henderson.
Candidates for Henderson City Commission, Henderson County Judge-Executive, Henderson County District 1 Magistrate, District 7 State Representative, District 11 State Representative and Henderson Mayor will each get two-and-half minutes to make presentations to the audience.
Candidates will also be encouraged to mingle with attendees before and after their turn at the microphone to answer questions and talk about issues important to local voters.
The free forum is being co-hosted by Kyndle and Henderson County Farm Bureau. It is open to the public.

The event is being sponsored by The Farm Bureau Federation, Henderson County Republican Party, and a joint sponsorship from Senator Dorsey Ridley and Henderson County Judge Executive Hugh McCormick.

Nominations for Henderson County's Distinguished Citizen of the Year and for Henderson County's Educator of the year are now being accepted.
The deadline for nominations is Thursday, May 15
Applications and nomination forms can be picked up at the Henderson Gleaner, at any bank in Downtown Henderson or at the Kyndle offices.

The winners of these awards will be recognized at Kyndle's Annual Celebration event which will take place at the Henderson Fine Arts Center on June 5, 5:30 p.m. at The Henderson Fine Arts Center.
