Area legislators will review the 2014 Kentucky General Assembly at Kyndle's Legislative Review Breakfast. State senators Dorsey Ridley of Henderson and Joe Bowen of Owensboro, as well as state representatives Dr. David Watkins of Henderson, Suzanne Miles of Owensboro and Jim Gooch of Providence have all been invited to give their perspectives on the session and take questions from the audience. "It has been a very interesting budget session that included actions that certainly impacted area residents," Kyndle CEO Brad Schneider said. "I encourage all folks from Henderson, Union, Webster and McLean counties to join us that morning at Ellis Park and learn more about the decisions that were made and why."

It will air the first weekend of every month; on Saturday on WEHT-Ch. 25 and on Sunday on WTVW-Ch. 7. It will be shown at 6:30 p.m. both nights. KyndleTV includes profiles of area businesses, information about points of interest in the region, a calendar of upcoming events and perspectives from the show's host, Kyndle CEO Brad Schneider.

Applications and nomination forms can be picked up at the Henderson Gleaner, at any bank in Downtown Henderson or at the Kyndle offices.

Candidates Forum

Tuesday May 6, 6 p.m. at the Ramada Inn in Henderson
Candidates for Henderson City Commission, Henderson County Judge-Executive, Henderson County District 1 Magistrate, District 7 State Representative, District 11 State Representative and Henderson Mayor will each get two-and-half minutes to make presentations to the audience.
Candidates will also be encouraged to mingle with attendees before and after their turn at the microphone to answer questions and talk about issues important to local voters.
The free forum is being co-hosted by Kyndle and Henderson County Farm Bureau. It is open to the public.
