2014 Legislative Review Breakfast
Thursday, April 17,  7:30 a.m. at Ellis Park in the Thoroughbred Room  Cost: $12 includes a buffet breakfast 

Area legislators will review the 2014 Kentucky General Assembly at Kyndle's Legislative Review Breakfast.

State senators Dorsey Ridley of Henderson and Joe Bowen of Owensboro, as well as state representatives Dr. David Watkins of Henderson, Suzanne Miles of Owensboro and Jim Gooch of Providence have all been invited to give their perspectives on the session and take questions from the audience.

"It has been a very interesting budget session that included actions that certainly impacted area residents," Kyndle CEO Brad Schneider said. "I encourage all folks from Henderson, Union, Webster and McLean counties to join us that morning at Ellis Park and learn more about the decisions that were made and why."

Kyndle to host 
Candidates Forum
Tuesday May 6, 6 p.m. at the Ramada Inn in Henderson 

Candidates for Henderson City Commission, Henderson County Judge-Executive, Henderson County District 1 Magistrate, District 7 State Representative, District 11 State Representative and Henderson Mayor will each get two-and-half minutes to make presentations to the audience.

Candidates will also be encouraged to mingle with attendees before and after their turn at the microphone to answer questions and talk about issues important to local voters.

The free forum is being co-hosted by Kyndle and Henderson County Farm Bureau. It is open to the public.

Hendo 100 Golf Fundraiser

Area golfers will try to play 100 holes in a day for charity


The second annual Hendo 100 golf marathon will offer the region's golfers a rare challenge when it's held April 28 at Henderson Country Club: The chance to attempt to play 100 holes in a single day.
