The Wonder of Learning - The traveling exhibition recounts experience from infant-toddler centers, preschools and primary schools in the city of Reggio Emilia, Italy. Stitched Art- Ohio Valley Art League presents "Stitched Art" an exhibition of artwork by six area fiber artists is now open in the OVAL Gallery @ Bank Trust, 201 North Main St, Henderson, KY. The Henderson City Lions Club's annual auction is underway, and Chamber members are urged to donate items the Lions can sell to raise money for their charitable endeavors. The auction has been held each year for more than six decades, and its proceeds have been used to support hundreds of local children and families in need. Veterans Resource Fair/ Stand Down- Audubon Area Community Services, Inc. is hosting two resource fairs for all area veterans, active duty, reservists, National Guard and military families. The first fair will be held on Feb. 20 from 2-7 p.m. at the Henderson County Extension Expo Center, 3099 State Route 351 East. The second annual Ohio Valley's Got Talent showcase, hosted by Rotary Colonels2College, will be held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 23 at the Henderson Fine Arts Center. The showcase and auditions are open to the public. Auditions will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Feb. 16 at South Middle School. Contestants should prepare a 90-second routine and a 90-second backup routine. Participants chosen for the finals will have access to sound equipment. Murray State/Henderson is holding a Transfer Fair Day Feb. 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at HCC. Anyone transferring to MSU that day will have all admissions fees waived. Bowl For Kids' Sake - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Henderson Co. Kentucky is having a fun-filled bowl-a-thon event to raise money to support one-to-one mentoring matches for at-risk children on March 9 at Echo Lanes in Henderson. Runway Red - Matthew 25 AIDS Services plans to pack the Community Baptist Church auditorium on March 23, when the nonprofit organizations stages its sixth annual charity fashion show and lunch, Runway Red.
