Ribbon Cutting

Safe Kids of Henderson City/County celebrated its Chamber membership with a ribbon cutting on Jan. 24.   Safe Kids Director Brenda Evans (holding scissors) requested the ribbon cutting be held at the Methodist Hospital Emergency Room to show the  importance of safety with children.  Safe Kids educates families, provides safety devices to families in need and advocates for better laws to help keep children safe, healthy and out of the emergency room.  Safe Kids of Henderson is among a nationwide network of organizations working to prevent unintentional childhood injury, the leading cause of death and disability for children ages 1 to 14.  Also pictured are Safe Kids  board  members, Chamber board  members and Chamber Ambassadors.  Kentucky State Trooper Corey King, a Safe Kids board member, holds the bow. Contact Evans at (270) 860-4093 or [email protected] for more information.
