Labor Law Posters for Sale
The Henderson-Henderson County Chamber has partnered with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives to offer mandatory Kentucky and federal labor law posters at a discounted rate through the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Kentucky employers with one or more employees are required to post a variety of notices that must meet certain requirements and knowing which labor law posters to display can often be a time consuming and frustrating task for many employers. Ribbon Cutting
 Methodist Hospital celebrated the renovation and reopening of its third floor medical wing with a ribbon cutting on Jan. 17. The unit's director, Genia Wedding, cut the ribbon, while the unit's clinical director, LaDonna Stone, held the bow. Also on hand were, from left, Methodist Hospital CEO Bruce Begley, Coordinator of Methodist Hospital's Foundation, Planning and Marketing Julie Wischer, Chief Nursing Officer Lois Morgan, Methodist Hospital Chairman Dale Sights, Vice President of Methodist Hospital's Foundation, Planning and Marketing Pam Moran and Chamber President Brad Schneider. Kentucky Chamber free e-membership
The Henderson-Henderson County Chamber of Commerce is committed to creating an environment where our members succeed. Henderson Leadership Initiative- The 2012 class of the Henderson Leadership Initiative will make its final presentations at 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 17 at the Henderson Fine Arts Center. Admission is free and the public is invited. The 2012 HLI class projects focused on compiling needs assessments for Henderson County in education, government and economy, and the final presentations will include the class' findings in those areas. Class of 2012 members are Drew Austin, Brian Bishop, Becky Carroll, Michelle Chappell, Danielle Crafton, Nicole Frields, David Garber, Lisa Garrett, Abbbie Grove, Jessica Heacock, Matt Hunsaker, Brandon Long, Herbie McKee, Lori Reed, Patrick Reed, Eric Shappell, Tara Smith, Brad Staton and Michael Vickers. Stitched Art- Ohio Valley Art League presents "Stitched Art" an exhibition of artwork by six area fiber artists will open in the OVAL Gallery @ Bank Trust, 201 North Main St, Henderson, KY, on January 17. The second annual Ohio Valley's Got Talent showcase, hosted by Rotary Colonels2College, will be held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 23 at the Henderson Fine Arts Center.
