Welsh Valley Middle School's Technology Student Association (TSA) traveled to Orlando, Florida last week to compete in the 35th annual TSA National Conference.  Twenty students competed in team and individual events with topics that ranged from digital photography and webpage design to STEM events focused on structural design, manufacturing processes and transportation systems.  All twenty Welsh Valley students finalized in at least one event and were called to the National stage; an amazing accomplishment.  This is the 8th year that Welsh Valley competed at the TSA National Conference.

The students set a new team record by winning 16 top ten finishes.  These results were enough to earn the team an unofficial overall 3rd place finish for the second year in a row.  The National TSA finalists were:
