The Melrose Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce Local Eats Week! This is an opportunity for Melrose food establishments to showcase their menus and offerings, while also introducing new culinary choices at prices that will attract existing and new customers who wish to explore the local dining scene.

Traditionally called Restaurant Week, we are incorporating an exciting change this year when it takes on a more regional and relaxed format. In collaboration with the Reading-North Reading, Stoneham and Wakefield-Lynnfield Chambers of Commerce, our communities will all promote Local Eats Week together, to encourage spending at our local restaurants and food establishments.
Ways to Get Involved!
Restaurants
The Chamber invites all Melrose restaurants to participate in offering a promotion of their choice in order to drive dining traffic. Example of promotions could include, but are not limited to:
  • Discounts or special entrees for Local Eats Week
  • Special fixed price menus or unique menu creations
  • Buy one, get one at ½ price or free
  • Buy one adult meal, receive the child's meal free
  • Receive a free beverage or side; Receive a free appetizer with each entree
This is a celebration of food in our community, and it is your opportunity to highlight your establishment! It is also an opportunity for you to best showcase yourself to attract new customers, say thank you to current customers and to keep them all coming back from many communities!

Melrose Chamber Merchants and Businesses
We invite Melrose Chamber businesses to participate in Local Eats Week by offering a promotion in conjunction with dining at our restaurants. For example, businesses may offer special discounts on merchandise, services or classes; an in-store offer when shown a dining receipt, etc.

Diners
Everyone is invited to join us during Local Eats Week to support our local food establishments! Diners should watch for breakfast, lunch, dinner, bakery and other food-related promotions throughout the week, as well as the specials and deals that will be offered from participating businesses.  A list of participating restaurants and their promotions will be added to the Melrose Chamber website as well as on the Local Eats Week Facebook page, as they join in the event. Diners are encouraged to check back regularly for details.
Additional details about Local Eats Week will be announced soon. In the meantime, to have your business participate please contact Lauren Grymek at the Chamber by email (Lauren@MelroseChamber.org) or phone (781-665-3033).
