Lions Are Champions of Change
Lions. You see the name every time your students benefit from Lions Quest, but have you ever wondered who Lions are and what they do? Lions are civic-minded citizens just like you, and chances are Lions are doing more than you realize.
To highlight the work of Lions, the White House recently recognized select U.S. Lions identified as Champions of Change, a program that honors everyday Americans doing extraordinary things in their communities.
Watch the Champions of Change panel discuss their efforts on behalf of Lions Quest, environmental initiatives, vision programs and disaster relief, or visit the Lions Clubs International Web site to learn more about Lions or locate a Lions club in your community. |
