On Friday, May 17th, the high school held their annual prom. It was a great night. Special thanks to Oak Grove parents Gidi and Noga Cohen for offering their home for the event, as well as the Senior Class for hosting this great occasion. See photos on our Facebook page. 
 
 
Wednesday, May 22nd, is Field Day - Some say the best day of the school year! We need volunteers! Please sign up here to bring fruit, to help set up and supervise the fruit station at 10:00AM, or to play a game of Capture the Flag. Fruit donations may be left in the Main House before school. Thank you! 
 
 
Friday night, May 24th from 7:00-9:00PM, we welcome you to the High School Showcase... an evening of music, art, and community, taking place in the Student Center. See video clips from previous showcase events on our website.    

 

 

Being a Mindful Audience - As we approach our end-of-year events on the Pavilion stage, we wish to highlight ways we can all be attentive audience members: 
* Please arrive on time for the scheduled events.
* If you plan to bring children, please keep them with you at the
Pavilion seating. The play field and playground adjacent to the Pavilion will be closed during events. 
* Please turn off your cell phone.
* If you are bringing guests who have not been on campus before,
please ask them to leave their dogs at home and remind them that this is a smoke-free campus. Thank you. 

 

 
End-of-Year Potluck - Five volunteers are needed to set up and put food on the tables. Volunteer times can be arranged around your child's performance time. Please email Jodi if you would like to volunteer.

This year we are asking each family to double their recipe so there will be plenty for all:

Gluten-free families:
please make one gluten-free dish to share with the following breakdown based on your child's last name: 
A-E (Main dishes)
F-K (Salads) 
L-N (Side Dishes) 
O-Z (Appetizers)

 

Everyone else:
please provide a dish based on your child's last name:
A-E (Main dishes)

The KFA is embarking on a two-week tour of the East Coast this June. Two workshops will be presented: The Ending of Psychological Time and The Meditative Mind. These offerings present core issues within Krishnamurti's work, geared toward those eager to inquire into fundamental questions in an open atmosphere. Click here for full details.
