Kenton County School District has earned the 2013 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency resulting in cost savings of nearly $5 million in avoided energy costs

Only four school districts nationally were selected, two of which are from the state of Kentucky, Kenton County and Scott County Georgetown. Only 16 school districts have been selected for this prestigious award since the inception of the award in 1999.
