NKY Magazine features academies

Superintendent Terri Cox-Cruey was interviewed for NKY Magazine on the success of the Kenton County Academies of Technology and Innovation.
  
"We worked with local colleges, hospitals and businesses, and Vision 2015, to see what kind of futures our kids could expect, what kind of careers were going to be big in Northern Kentucky," says Superintendent Dr. Terri Cox-Cruey. "What we found were all sorts of high-tech jobs that could go unfilled unless our students were properly prepared."

has been named a finalist for the National Football Foundation's Brian Williams "That's My Boy" Award.

 

The NFF-College Football Hall Of Fame "That's My Boy" Award is the most prestigious award for which a student-athlete in the tri-state can be nominated.

 

Jared was nominated for this honor by Coach Jeff Marksberry.

Scott High School students can choose from among Scott logo 28 languages to fulfill their graduation requirements

Since 2011, Rosetta Stone language software has been offered as an elective course in humanities or technology at Scott High. Students use computers or tablets and headphones to listen to voices of native speakers, and students' model their accent after what they hear.
