What's Needed in Nicaragua

We need volunteers!

Fellowship Congregational Church, Tulsa, OK is hosting a fundraising garage sale for us on June 14!

We need people to help us gather donations, set-up on June 13, cashier June 14, AND get the word out so we have lots of shoppers!

As you can see...the bridge in La Flor is in desperate need of repair.

This bridge is used not only by all of our trip participants, but by all the people who live in La Flor. They use this bridge to get to and from work and school everyday. 
 

The bridge is in such poor condition now that when a heavy load must be carried up to the community, people must cross through the river instead of risking putting the additional weight on the bridge.

The good news: on May 9 a group of construction workers will be working together with an engineer and local workers to repair the bridge and to make more permanent plans for its future maintenance! 

BUT we need help raising the additional funds. Much of the funds have already been provided, but we need $1,500 more to complete the repairs in May!
