      The World Bank reports that "Over the last decade or so, major progress has been made in improving service delivery to the poorest communities in Nicaragua, and results are beginning to show...   Poverty reduction accelerated in the last five years, inequality has fallen, and social indicators are showing steady improvements." 

 

     The three communities where JustHope works--Chacraseca, Santa Emilia, and LaFlor--are showing even better results than the national average.  We are proud to be playing a small part in changing lives and futures in Nicaragua!   

 

     Please consider a year-end donation to help us complete our 2013 project goals and continue making a difference in 2014!

WE DID ALL THIS TOGETHER IN 2013!
  • Sent 300 children to elementary school in Chacraseca
  • Provided high school teachers for 210 young people in Santa Emilia
  • Added five new micro-credit circles in 
    La Flor and
    Chacraseca
  • Built 30 latrines in La Flor 
    and Chacraseca
  • Sent four students to University in La Flor and Chacraseca
  • Re
    modeled classrooms and built a water cistern in Santa Emilia
  • Completed the Stitching Hope facility and employed 13 women in Chacraseca
  • Conducted a music camp for 200 children in Chacraseca and provided a music teacher in the schools
  • Expanded the Hardward Store in Chacraseca to a General Store
