Madison, WI (February 5, 2013) There are over 1,500 half-marathons in the U.S. and the BMO Harris Bank Madison Mini Presented by Meriter & Physicians Plus hosted in the heart of downtown Madison was ranked #14! The February issue of Runner's World Magazine is on newsstands now and includes the Mini among the top 27 races nationwide. From a great fitness expo to pace teams, a high energy course, free beer and much more the Madison Mini delivers on multiple levels! Bring the whole family; the Mini also includes a Kids' Run and will start at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2013. The 5K and Half Marathon will start at 7:00 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2013.
The Madison Mini will celebrate it's 5th Anniversary in 2013 and registration is currently open and on record pace. The Half Marathon is currently $65 and is good through 4/10/13. For a fifth year in a row the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Healthy Women, Healthy Babies fund is the official Charity Partner. Healthy Women, Healthy Babies will host a blanket and diaper drive during the month of August.
