Heather Tydings-Goldfarb, LCSW-C!

 

 

Heather Tydings-Goldfarb is a psychotherapist and Certified Martha Beck Life Coach. Heather combines solution focused therapy and life coaching for clients who want to live satisfying and meaningful lives. Most clients find Heather when going through periods of reinvention, transition or when they are craving an authentic life. 

 

Heather's academic and professional experiences and accomplishments have forged a highly effective clinical and coaching skill set, affording her clientele individualized planning and access to both traditional or conservative and contemporary or progressive clinical and coaching resources. She offers traditional psychotherapy, as well as spirituality, mind/body practices, including meditation and thought work. She promotes mind, body and spirit unification through therapy and other integrative practices. She will guide you in listening to the wisdom of your body to steer you in the right direction in your life.  

 

Heather works with women to break through the myth of perfection and also those who are striving to find their voice.  Heather believes the therapeutic process is more about losing what is no longer needed to find your purpose and be who you are meant to be. She believes stepping into your true nature is what brings freedom and peace.

 

Heather provides Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counseling services. EAP services help employees with personal or professional challenges impacting work performance, health and/or well being. EAP is short term counseling that often offers community resources and referrals. 

 

Heather graduated from University of Maryland with a MSW in social work. She has worked as a licensed therapist (LCSW-C) in a cancer center, in the Emergency Department doing psychiatric assessments, and in private practice. The last 8 years, she has provided telephonic EAP counseling as well as crisis intervention with the USPS, Federal Government and many other companies across the United States.  She also provides counseling for national disaster hotlines. She trained as a life coach under Dr. Martha Beck, a bestselling author and columnist in Oprah's O Magazine.
