Notes from the Board...

 

The BooHoo/Yahoo Breakfast was a great time in the beautiful setting of the McDowell Mountain Ranch Golf Club.  We had a great turn out and it must be noted that we need to kill the misconception that it's only for Kinder Parents! It's for EVERYONE AT DCES.....we hope to see ALL of you there next year!  For those of you all who were able to join us, thank you for taking a moment to breathe with us and thank you for all your suggestions and support!

 

We realize that School Transportation is a bit crazy right now, but we are asking everyone to please be patient as we wade through these first 2 weeks of school. Everything will shake out before we know it and we will soon have a well-oiled machine!  If we are not mistaken, we believe that DCES moves to a gate-to-gate policy this week, so please be prepared to say "have good day" to your babes at the gate. :)  Also, please keep in mind, that the parent pick-up/drop-off lane is for quickly dropping and picking up your child.  Parents, please do not get out of the car and please, please have your child enter and exit through the car door on the gate-side for their safety.

Thanks so much for all who attended the Meet the Teacher Event and help make it so successful! It was great to see all of you out there, and we were excited to answer your questions and see your smiling faces.  Thank you for all your contributions and we look forward to sharing how those funds will be used or earmarked.
