library With great gratitude the West family thanks the DMHS, DCMS and DCES families for your extraordinary support of the recent Book Drive, in memory of their daughter Quinn West, who loved to read.

  • Crisis Nursery - board books for babies and toddlers
  • UMOM (Homeless shelter and support services) - books for young children
  • Family Promise (Homeless Shelter and support services for families) - children's books
  • Children First Academy (Charter School serving families at the poverty line, the majority of which are homeless) - children's books
  • City of Scottsdale After School Programs at Horizon Park and more - children and teens books
  • City of Scottsdale Summer Program at DCMS and more - children and teens books
  • Lucky Paws Rescue - mostly dog and cat books
  • Scottsdale Healthcare - adult books for patients and waiting family and friends, as well as for infusion and chemotherapy patients in Cancer Care
  • City of Joy-Rwanda (through DMHS) - preschool books for children in Rwanda
In addition, the West family thanks the school PTOs and administration, and Yogurtology for their support of this drive.

Rather than just sitting on shelves, many previously read and retired books will now be in the hands of young readers this summer, delighting them with new stories and hopefully lighting a spark of interest in lifelong reading appreciation.
