DCES Fine Arts Festival
and Bookfair
Friday, April 19
5:00-7:00 pm  After months of classroom learning centered on the arts please join DCES students as we celebrate their many visual and musical achievements at this year's Festival of the Arts. Please join Mrs. Allende in the elementary cafeteria from 5:00-6:30 pm and view the beautiful pieces of art created by each and every one of our DCES students. Ms. Giles, Mrs. Potter and Mrs. Suderman will showcase the musical talent of DCES students with performances by:
- 4th & 5th Grade Band - 5:00 - 5:30 pm - Elementary Amphitheater
- 4th & 5th Grade Strings - 5:30 - 6:00 pm - Middle School Stage
- 5th Grade Choir - 6:00 - 6:30 pm - West of the J building
Pizza and Jamba Juice will be available for purchase during the event - cash only please.
The famous PTO hosted BOGO (Buy-One-Get-One) Scholastic Book Fair will be open from 5:00 until 7:00pm. |

Hello DCES Families!
First, thanks to all of you who made it out to the "Bingo, Bidding & BBQ" event on April 5th. Thank you for supporting DCES!! We sold ALMOST everything that night, but had a few late-in items that did not make it to the tables, and some items that are looking for the perfect buyer to notice them! So... here is YOUR chance to bid!
Here is how it works:
Review the Post Auction Items list here -- 44 GREAT ITEMS!
- Item Values Range: Priceless - $600
- Minimum Bids Range: $5-$100
- Print the 2 page description and sign up for your items of interest
- Please note the MINIMUM BID that must be met
- Then, place your FIRST & FINAL BID, and fill in YOUR NAME, EMAIL & PHONE NUMBER
- Turn in your bid sheet to DCES OFFICE by this FRIDAY, APRIL 19th by NOON. No bid sheets will be accepted after this time.
All bids will be collected & compared. The HIGHEST BID for EACH ITEM will be AWARDED the ITEM.
If there is a tie bid placed on any item, the tie bidders will be contacted & a last & final bid will be accepted to break the tie. High bid will win the item.
Winners will be notified this weekend and payment is asked to be completed on Monday, April 22.
