For a limited time we are offering a ¼ page ad in the yearbook for $50 (includes picture and text, see example here). Space is limited, so submit your ad no later than Friday, February 22nd!

 DCES will be hosting an overview presentation of our Emergency Response Plan for parents February 11th, 6:30 PM in the Desert Canyon library.

Birthday Book Club Update!
 Desert Canyon Elementary School Birthday Book Club INVITES YOUR CHILD to a celebration honoring February, March, April birthdays
A Birthday Book Club event is coming soon! If you haven't already signed up for your child who has a birthday in February, March, April please sign up now!
(Attendees should receive confirmation shortly approx. 1 week before the event after submitting payment)
- Date: Friday February 22nd (during lunch recess)
- Cost: $20 per child - a donation to purchase a permanent book for the DCES library with their name in it!
- Deadline: Sign up by Wednesday Feb. 20th for this event.
EACH CHILD PARTICIPATING RECEIVES
DCES FUN-FILLED GOODIE BAG!
Birthday Book Club provides an opportunity for your child to celebrate his/her birthday with other DCES students by donating a book to the library that will have a label recognizing their donation forever. The book is sent home with your child for 2 weeks and then returned for other students to enjoy. We also sing Happy Birthday and a group picture will be posted in the Library.
Approximate celebration times: (Pre-K-11:40) (K-11:40) (1st-11:15) (2nd-12:00) (3rd-12:50) (4th-12:25) (5th-1:15)

Love Lines 2013
Love lines are messages to students (or DCES staff members) that are incorporated into the pages of the school's yearbook. What a great way to congratulate, send love, and express wishes for your DCES student and/or staff member!
