September 8, 2015 (Kingsland, Georgia): The Kingsland Visitors Bureau & Welcome Center is pleased to announce the promotion of long-time team member, Sarah Beard, to the position of Visitor Services Manager within our organization. Mrs. Beard has been a dedicated employee here at the Kingsland Tourism Department for more than 8 years. She previously worked as a Visitor Information Specialist and Sales Coordinator. It is her strong marketing skills and dedication to customer service that led to Sarah earning this promotion.

In assuming her new duties as Visitor Services Manager, Mrs. Beard will oversee the dedicated welcome center team that we already have in place in addition to being responsible for ensuring the accurate provision of information to the general public about visitor attractions, amenities, events, accommodations, transportation and other facilities in the local area. She will manage the Kingsland Welcome Center and oversee the center's retail sales program, all while coordinating the administrative responsibilities associated with visitor service and sales/marketing efforts.
