Kingsland Veterans Day Celebrations
Greetings!

When each Veterans Day rolls around, then it's time again for the annual Veterans Day Celebration held in downtown Kingsland. Sponsored by the VFW Post #8385 & City of Kingsland, this celebration honors veterans of wartime and peacetime and is a moving tribute to the heroes of our time.

Kingsland Veterans Day Celebrations
Saturday, November 10th, 2012

8:00 AM to 1:00 PM - A fundraising yard sale for Kingsland Veterans Memorial Park will be held at the Kingsland Depot, located at 200 E. King Avenue

9:00 AM - Line up begins for the Veterans Day Parade at Steffens, located at 55o S. Lee Street

10:00 AM - Parade steps off, parade route north on US 17 and ends at The Warehouse parking lot on the corner of Satilla Street and William Avenue

11:00 AM - A recognition ceremony will be held in the Kingsland Veterans Memorial Park, located at the corner of Highway 40 and S. Orange Edwards Boulevard

12:00 PM - Catfish and all the fixings will be served at the Kingsland Depot. Donations to the Kingsland Veterans Memorial Park will be accepted.
