"LITTLE BELLIES" MEAL PACKS FOR DAP
We know that families affected by domestic violence are often struggling with more than just the abuse - sometimes our clients don't know where their next meal will come from. And hungry bellies-especially for the kids in our Children's Program-make the work of processing and healing from violence almost impossible. So we were delighted by this recent donation from a long-time friend of DAP: a gift of 48 meal packs for the kids and moms in our Tuesday night children's therapy group. These brown bags are full to bursting with non-perishable, easy to prepare, and kid-friendly food! What about YOU? Do you have a friend circle, a worship group, or a community gathering that might be interested in putting together meal packs for Tuesday groups? Click the link below to learn how.

LET'S PACK THE HOUSE!
For Carol Arthur's final DAP luncheon as Executive Director
By now you've probably heard that after 26 years as DAP's fearless leader, Carol Arthur is retiring from her position as Executive Director at the end of 2014. You can be sure, however, that we're not letting her get far!
Join us on Tuesday, October 14 from noon - 1:00 PM for a very special DAP fundraising luncheon at Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Center.
We're counting on you, DAP friends, to help us fill that large room at Earle Brown Heritage Center with friends, family and colleagues - both new to DAP and long-time supporters.
Being a Table Captain is one of the most impactful ways you can help DAP fill the room, influence the success of our fundraising efforts and help DAP provide opportunities and services to the children and families in our community. Any individual, couple, company or group can be a Table Captain.
