Adobe® Creative Cloud Discount Pricing Ends August 31, 2013 In early June, Adobe announced that they are no longer be offering perpetual licenses of their software. In other words, you can no longer buy a traditional license. There are two implications here. First, if you want to buy a hardcopy of Adobe CS6 that you will own and have perpetual access to, you have to do it before the end of August. Starting September 1, all future software and updates will be only available on a subscription basis through their Creative Cloud (CC). The second thing is that to prompt you to move the the Cloud, Adobe is offering incentive pricing for current Creative Suite users (version 3 and above) if purchased by August 31, 2013.
