Local Talent!
 On Friday, Oct. 30, West Side Grows Together hosted an Open Mic, Art and Talent Exhibition at the Christina Cultural Arts Center. Over 80 local young people shared their talents in spoken word poetry, dance, music and art in a drug and alcohol-free environment.

For the past three years, West End has partnered with UD's Service Learning Scholars to Provide students with hands-on business and agricultural experience.

Giving Thanks
Many thanks to the Wilmington Jaycees, Widener University Law School and 150 + volunteers for helping us supply, pack and distribute over 400 Thanksgiving baskets on Saturday, Nov. 21!

Holiday Poinsettias
On Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 7:30 - 4, West End will hold a special holiday Poinsettia sale at the greenhouse on the Herman Holloway Campus (1901 S. DuPont Highway, New Castle). The plants are grown by youth in West End's Bright Spot Ventures program and will be on sale for $6.95/each.
