Chris Strub
We were thrilled to welcome Chris Strub on Thursday, Aug. 13. Chris is embarking on a cross-country tour, volunteering with one organization in all 50 states to encourage volunteerism nationwide. And of all the non-profits in Delaware, he picked West End! The News Journal, WDEL and Channel 6 ABC News came to visit too!

Young Entrepreneurs
Inspired by the entrepreneurial success of the 'Sweet Dream Girlz' sister duo (pictured), West End youth business teams recently competed in a sales contest, learning valuable lessons in staffing, marketing, inventory, wholesale and retail sales. 1st place went to Jaida Bey, Isis Melton, Ma'Nyah Mayo and Paris Carter; 2nd place winners included Zihere Owens and Danazja Wilmore; and 3rd place went to team '4 Aces'.
