Since January, financial coaches from West End's $tand By Me program have been visiting public high schools in DE to help parents and students complete FAFSA applications. Meanwhile, coaches at Del Tech and Wilmington University have been working with both new and returning students to ensure they are financially ready for the coming academic year. Giving Education a 2nd Chance 

The Second Chances Fund, an initiative of West End Neighborhood House, helps Delaware's high school dropouts complete their education and become self-sufficient. Click here for more information. 
Navient Recognizes West End 

On Tuesday, February 17, Navient held an event to celebrate moving its national headquarters to Wilmington, DE. The company also took the opportunity to announce grant awards to West End, the DE Children's Museum and Duffy's Hope.

AX Track Team Rises to the Challenge

On Sunday, February 8, West End's Above Xpectations (AX) Track Team traveled to Boston, MA to compete in the Northeast Indoor Championship. There, AX won the team title, broke 2 records, placed 1st in over 10 events, and was awarded a trophy. AX is now featured on the Needham Track Club's website.
