Holiday Poinsettia Fundraiser

Giving Thanks

On Saturday, November 22, West End, the Wilmington Jaycees and dozens of volunteers distributed over 400 Thanksgiving baskets to local families in need. Thank you to all who participated!

Building the Business

On Saturday, November 15, West End's Bright Spot Farms program welcomed 20 volunteers from Longwood Gardens Professional Gardeners Program. The group worked with Bright Spot Farms youth to:

Clean up and plant major beds on the Herman Holloway Campus
Spread 25 yards of wood chips around the perimeter of the growing fields
Build a 96 ft. long rolling bench in the greenhouse
Assemble the frame of a 14 ft. by 96 ft. high tunnel

Second & Third Chances
