Ticket to Prevention 
 
On Friday, Oct. 24 from 6-9 p.m. at First Baptist Church (301 Walker Rd., Dover, DE 19904) the DE Prevention Coalition will hold its 3rd Annual Ticket to Prevention Kids' Carnival. The event's activities are designed to teach avoidance strategies among youth to prevent underage drinking.

Service Celebration & Building Dedication

On Wednesday, Sept 10, over 75 guests gathered to celebrate West End's15 years of services to foster care youth and to honor the Reese family, who, for four generations have actively supported the House and greater community. Click here to read a recent News Journal article on the event!
Farmer & the Chef

On Sept. 18, at the Chase Center on the Riverfront, West End's Bright Spot Farms program participated in the Farmer & the Chef -  an event that helps connect local restaurants and farmers. Westin Wilmington's Chef Dave Lattomus prepared a spicy tomato scallops dish with a carrot slaw using tomatoes, jalapenos, carrots, cilantro, and scallions grown by foster care youth in the program.
