Urban Ag. Expansion

In 2013, West End expanded its urban agricultural program to include growing starter plant material for local community gardens. This year, Delaware's Department of Health & Social Services invited West End to use its greenhouses at the Herman Holloway campus in New Castle to further expand the program, which will also provide job opportunities for foster care youth. Pictured (first on the left) is the program's University of Delaware intern Bryana Shevlin.
