On Tuesday, Jan. 14, West Side Grows Together hosted 15 businesses & nonprofits at a free Marketing Workshop presented by 3E Marketing Solutions. The presentation focused on strategies for social media, organization and content creation. Many thanks to Corleto Latina Family Center for hosting!

Help With Healthcare

On Thursday, Jan. 16, Evan Douglass of West Side Family Health Care provided info. on the Affordable Care Act at a monthly parent meeting held at West End. Several parents and staff members took advantage of the opportunity to enroll in coverage.

Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Over 150 people joined the Wilmington Peacekeepers and West Side Grows Together for a peace march on Monday, Jan. 20 honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The group followed a route through the Hilltop neighborhood from St. Paul's Church to Judy Johnson Park, culminating in a Community Celebration at Be Ready Jesus is Coming Church attended by over 250.
