March 10th represents the 100th anniversary of the death of American icon and abolitionist hero Harriet Tubman.

Along with numerous statewide events, on March 10 there will also be a 2-mile walk/run held at Dravo plaza on the Wilmington Riverfront to commemorate Ms.Tubman's monumental achievements. For more info., to register or donate, check out the event webpage

West End Customer Attends Obama's State of the Union Address 


On a visit to West End Neighborhood House, Congressman John Carney met Lateka Jones (pictured), who has been taking job training classes and studying for her GED through West End's Education & Employment department. Lateka was pleasantly surprised by the Congressman's invitation to attend President Obama's State of the Union address. (She happily accepted!)
Lt. Governor Matt Denn Visits West End!
