West Side Grows Harvest Picnic

On Sunday, October 21 from 3-5, West Side Grows held a Harvest Picnic to celebrate the end of the growing season. Over 25 local enthusiasts met at the Rodney Reservoir Community Garden to share a meal and ideas on how to expand on the sense of community already established through the community gardens. For more information, check out the West Side Grows Facebook

Holiday Adopt-A-Family
Although for most of us the holidays are a time to celebrate and spend time with family, for others they are just another hardship. Last year West End brought joy to the hearts of 172 children, and we want to do the same for even more this year! If you would like to help or find out more about the program, contact Barbara Reed at 302-658-4717 x172 or breed@westendnh.org.
Thank You Agilent Technologies!

On Tuesday, October 23, volunteers from Agilent Technologies took time out of their busy schedules to help beautify West End's exterior by spreading new mulch around the perimeter of our main building. To learn more about volunteer opportunities available at West End, visit our website or contact Meredith Stuart at mstuart@westendnh.org.
Special Thanks to Capital One Associates!

On Thursday, October 18, West End welcomed volunteers from Capital One, who tutored students from West End's Education and Employment Department. A separate group of Capital One Associates also provided tutoring services in August and did a fantastic job!
