Garden Party this Saturday!
Noon - 3:00 PM
Join us this Saturday (May 14th) at our Durham and Raleigh stores from noon to 3:00 PM for our third annual
Rosé Garden Party! Discover the pairing perfection of vibrant rosé and fresh NC oysters (steamed or raw) or seasonal fish from Walking Fish prepared by celebrated local chefs ( Phoebe Lawless of Scratch in Durham and a chef guest in Raleigh yet to be announced). Garden Party visitors at both stores will enjoy a free tasting of four rosés and then pick a glass of their favorite for $15 to enjoy with their choice of a fried fish, oyster, or cheese plate!
Be sure to don a Garden Party outfit! Party attendees with fancy hats, bow ties, or parasols will receive a 10% discount on wine purchases (and an extra 5% off on case and half-case purchases)! A best-costume winner will be selected in both Durham and Raleigh and will receive a whopping $100 Enomatic card (thus ensuring coolest-kid status). Feel free to surprise us with the outlandish rosé-themed outfits of your wildest imaginations!
PS: We need oyster shuckers at both locations. Call or reply to this email to help us out!
Indy's Best of
the Triangle 2016
Ends this Week
Friends, Trianglites, countrymen, you only have only through the weekend to vote for your favorite finalists (including a certain bastion of outstanding value and estate-produced wine) by clicking on the Indy's "Best Of" image above! Keep in mind that there is no shortage of people out there who cast votes for unwieldy, unimaginative chains. Our Triangle's many exciting, local, homegrown businesses depend on your loyal, selective, and vociferous support. Please be true to your civic duty and vote for the little guys who help make our community special. It truly matters!
It's here at long last! The pink oasis that refreshes our mouths and nourishes our souls is once again in bloom! The Rosé Garden has arrived, and we're kicking off the the season with selections that include the Garden's starring darling, "Venus" (in both bottles and glorious 3-LITER Bag-in-boxes) along with other returning favorites from years past in their shiny new vintages fresh off the boat! As always, a portion of each and every bottle of rosé sold will be donated to the fight against breast cancer!
Real Customer Comment:
"My friends and I come here all the time. Twice I've given guests gift cards here and they've loved it." - Holly K. (via Yelp)

This Tuesday, May 17th, we present our FREE midweek wine tasting! Every Tuesday is tasty...
As summery, somewhat sultry weather settles in, we sometimes find ourselves daydreaming about wading in the warm surf of Iberian beaches. We always find ourselves daydreaming about the ripe fruit and vibrant acidity that punctuate the rosés and whites made from the native grapes of Portugal. At next week's Tasty Tuesday, we're going to get a handle on what we're craving with white, pink, and red ambassadors from Lisboa and Alentejo. The tongue-tingling acidity of the first two and sumptuous richness of the third can practically ensure that each member of this trio will find itself as a most welcomed guest at your table or on your patio throughout spring and summer. Cheers!
And don't forget:
Our Tasty Tuesday 15% Half-Case Discount!
After you taste, put together 6 bottles from our Tasty Tuesday lineup, and we'll take an entire 15% off!

Free Saturday Tastings!
Durham & Raleigh:
From Noon to 3 pm, "try before you buy"
at our FREE tastings!
Set sail on an
(almost) endless
Sea of Rosé
We've long been blissfully content with our beautiful Rosé Garden, and why shouldn't we be? What could possibly bring a greater sense of tranquility than a garden's worth of pretty, pink, potable pleasure? A sea's worth perhaps? Well, we've been working in secret to create, for the first time in human history, a Sea of Rosé, and we set sail this summer. We're poised to promise more profoundly pink wine than ever before both by the bottle and by the box... This Saturday, at our annual Rosé Garden Party, we're celebrating these rose-hued horizons as well as rosé itself with a tasting of five of the Garden's greatest hits from lightest and brightest to deepest, darkest, and most indulgent. Don't forget that for a mere fifteen bucks, you can choose a glass of your favorite rosé from this tasting and an oyster, fried fish, or cheese plate! Come with us and sail away on a sea of rosé!

{organic} Pinot Noir, Cab Franc, Negrette, Gamay
(Atlantic Loire, France)
CRANBERRY & TANGY RASPBERRY, PRISTINE FLINT, FUN & ELEGANT A far-flung Atlantic enclave of France's sprawling Loire continuum, the Fiefs Vendéens region (sometimes known as the Loire Meridionale) remains a new frontier for most wine lovers outside of the immediate area. This nimble rosé brings together the region's signature cast of red grapes (Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Négrette, and Gamay) in a focused package which seduces...
Domaine Pinchinat
{organic} Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah (Provence, France)
DRY! WHITE CHERRY & CITRUS, FLOWERS Although the vines that yield this wine are grown within the Cotes de Provence appellation and meet all of the criteria including being the correct varietals, they are planted at the bottom of the hills which receive the appellation designation...

Rosé Zweigelt 2015 "Rosanna"
{sustainable} 100% Zweigelt
(Carnuntum, Austria)
FRESH, CHEERFUL, LOTS OF BERRY, RIPE FRUIT Carnuntum is an emerging region just southeast of Vienna in Austria. Franz Netzl walked us through his vineyards to show off the high quality Zweigelt, it is the region's most important grape. This pink version is named for his daughter Anna Marie. Showing ripe, spicy, Zweigelt character...
Navarra Rosado 2015 "Lagrima de Garnacha"
PINKALICIOUS, RASPBERRY FRUIT, LEMON ZEST The strikingly bold, bright, color of this rosé is certain to catch your eye, while the name, Lagrima de Garnacha or "Grenache Tears," compels curiosity. Carlos Aliaga is clearly passionate, using only natural yeast and farms organically. This brilliant rosé has us enthralled from the first sip. Bright and crisp with telltale...
Ribera del Duero Rosado 2015 "Rosa"
BRIGHT CHERRY & RASPBERRY, JUICY GRAPEFRUIT MUSK Hailing from northern Castilla y Leon's arid Ribera del Duero region, home to some of the nation's most balanced and structured Tempranillo-based reds, this juicy rosé has a lot of the beloved characteristics of its darker brethren.
