This Tuesday, June 30th, we present our FREE midweek wine tasting! Every Tuesday is tasty...
Nothing's more refreshing than standing immediately before an open flame on a 97 degree day, right? So, this Tuesday, we're celebrating that time-honored and all-American facet of summer by exploring delicious wines and a fantastic pale ale from two of this fair nation's original colonies (New York and our own North Carolina!) which are well-suited to chillin' by the grill and keepin' it real. Peace!
And don't forget:
Our Tasty Tuesday 15% Half-Case Discount!
After you taste, put together 6 bottles from our Tasty Tuesday lineup, and we'll take an entire 15% off!

"try before you buy" at
our FREE tasting
Our annual compendium of cockamamie concoctions continues...
This Saturday (June 28th), it's time for one of our most anticipated tastings of the year. Each weekend before July 4th, we celebrate by pouring wine cocktails in lieu of our typical standalone wine selections. This year, we're continuing our recent tradition of looking to some of our local, very cocktail savy friends for inspiration! We're also rolling out a conspicuously summery Negroni! Needless to say, these imaginative concoctions are delicious, fun, and proven to help spur your creativity next weekend before you begin blowing stuff up with M-80's and cherry bombs. Bottoms up! Read about the cocktails below, and click this link for a printable document with all of the recipes!
Tempore, Mas Codina
W.A. Sangria (2015 Remix)
(Aragón & Penedès, Spain)
Garnacha Joven & Cava Brut With a slight twist, our recipe for a classic Sangria returns this year as an indispensable refreshment for the hot weather! We recommend Aliaga's Tempranillo for the red wine base and Mas Codina's Cava Brut to add invigorating spritz...
Cocchi, Capelleti, Jack Rudy
"Negroni Solare"
(Summer Negroni)
(Northern Italy & Charleston, SC)
Red Vermouth, Americano Rosso, Dry Vermouth: Drawing from the beloved Negroni's origins (prior, in fact, to its being called "Negroni"), this more refreshing and lower octane option uses bold Cappelletti Americano Rosso in place of Campari and Dolin's wonderfully herbaceous dry vermouth in place of gin...
Cocchi, Terrabianca, Lurisia
(Piemonte, Italy)
Moscato d'Asti, Americano Bianco, Sparkling Mineral Water: Andrew Shepherd of Raleigh's Stanbury returns this year with a sequel to last year's "Moscito" (Moscato/Mojito hybrid), and it's every bit as refreshing as its predecessor! This effervescent, lightly sweet, and delightfully bitter cocktail brings a northwestern Italian trio together to spectacular effect...
Alley 26, Dolin, Mas Codina
(North Carolina's Durham, France's Savoie, & Spain's Catalonia)
Alley 26 Tonic Syrup, Dry Vermouth, Cava Brut Nature/Zero Shannon Healy of Durham's Alley 26 serves up another fantastic cocktail recipe (hot on the heels of last year's "Alley Dreams of Toro"). This time, it's a kaleidoscopic collision of Cava, Vermouth, and his own Tonic Syrup! A fantastically summery treat, to be sure...
