Class is in session!

Join us for a fun and educational evening of wine that will chronicle a vine's life - from its spring buds breaking open to each of its grape's being lovingly squeezed into the bottles that we hold so dear. We will cover how vines are grown and wine is made, as well as how to read a label, how to buy wine, how to store wine, how to drink, er, taste wine... and we'll debunk many wine myths throughout this two hour class.
(includes tasting wines, video presentation, and handouts)

It's here at long last! The pink oasis that refreshes our mouths and nourishes our souls is once again in bloom! The Rosé Garden has arrived, and we're kicking off the the season with selections that include the Garden's starring darling, "Venus," which has just returned in both bottle and glorious 3-LITER BOX! We're also happy to feature a brand new pink offering from the fan-favorite Austrian producer, Paul D. The signature delights of southeast France!
Now that cold weather has lifted and we've enjoyed a few days in a row without rain, we can finally turn our attentions to the balmy viticultural paradise of France's Mediterranean regions without feeling too jealous of the weather! We'll be kickin' it eastside this Saturday with selections from Provence and the Southern Rhone's "Left Bank," beginning appropriately with the heavyweight champion of light-bodied delights, the Cotes de Provence Rosé from Domaine Pinchinat. Next, we'll focus on another returning refresher, Domaine Le Garrigon's white Cotes du Rhone - a perfumey, Viognier-driven masterpiece! Rich, ripe, resplendently Rhone-ish reds from Ventoux and the Plan de Dieu round things out with the generous fruit and exotic spice that we adore in the Mediterranean wines of France. Vive la Méditerranée!
Domaine Pinchinat
Cotes de Provence Rosé 2014
{organic} Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault
(Provence, France)
PALE, FRESH, QUAFFABLE. PERFUMY SANDALWOOD & CITRUS Served cold, this goes down easily (and very quickly) just as it would in the land where it's made. Picture this: you, your love, and your closest friends around a small table with a saffron table cloth. It's dusk. Cool breezes relieve the heat of the day. Delicious grilled meats, salads, and fresh, cold rosé...
Domaine Le Garrigon
Cotes du Rhone Blanc 2014
{organic} 75% Viognier, 25% Ugni Blanc (Southern Rhone, France)
CRISP PEACH & ORANGE, EXOTIC HONEYSUCKLE & GINGERBREAD Oh, how we love the wines of Domaine Le Garrigon! Daniel Couston makes wines that are delicious, classic examples of their type that happen to be organically grown. This blend of Viognier (starring) and Ugni Blanc (an acid-boosting cameo) offers us a refreshing and fabulously perfumey Mediterranean delight that is as versatile as it is distinctive....
Vieux Clocher by Arnoux
75% Grenache, 10%Syrah, 10% Carignan, 5% Cinsault
(Southern Rhone/Provence, France)
PRETTY BLUEBERRY & STRAWBERRY, BOLD MEDITERRANEAN SPICE The Arnoux family's entrée into winemaking can be traced back to 1717, when the Count of Vacqueyras granted the family a small parcel of land. Today, three centuries later, they attentively farm 40 hectares and produce top value Rhone wines - intensely flavored reds with naturally low yields from mountainside vineyards and austere soil...
{sustainable} 65% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre 5% Carignan
BRAMBLY BERRY & WILD HERBS. YUMMY, FRESH, & FULL Plan de Dieu (the "Plain of God" in French) is an expansive plateau region lying west of Gigondas and Vacqueyras and north of Chateauneuf. It is among the distinguished areas of the Cotes-du-Rhone Villages appellation allowed to display its name on the bottle's label - a coveted honor. Renowned since...
