Greetings!
Featuring Walking Fish

At next week's Tasty Tuesday (March 26th), we have a special treat lined up featuring Durham's stellar seafood Cooperative, Walking Fish. Crisp, minerally whites and oysters are a famously ideal pairing, and we're offering a plate of six raw or steamed oysters and a glass of wine alongside our free Tuesday tasting for only $15. Txakoli, Muscadet, and Favorita will be accompanying the mollusks, and a couple of oystermen will even be on hand to talk about what they do and why it's so important to support local fisherman. Don't miss this or you're liable to find yourself saying, "shucks"!
No reservations required, but reply to this email with your number of guests if you think you'll come. Just to help us plan. thx.

Rock out with our Wachau (and Wagram) Tasting!
This Saturday, at WA, we're pouring wines from two of Austria's premiere regions for outstanding wine, Wagram and the Wachau. From the latter's Tegernseerhof, there will be exceptional examples of piercingly crisp Grüner and bone-dry Riesling from the unrivaled terraced vineyards that famously populate the region. From one of Wagram's true stars, Anton Bauer, a pair of new arrivals featuring the quintessentially Austrian Zweigelt and Blaufrankish will quite possibly introduce you to a previously unknown level of value and substance in the country's reds. Prost!
