Tasty Tuesday!
"A Door to the Douro"

This Tuesday, January 8th, we present our mid-week FREE wine tasting.  Every Tuesday is tasty! From 5:00 - 7:00, we host this bonus tasting of three wines to get you through the early week and land you safely on hump day!
Douro Gif!
Portugal's Douro River Valley offers some of the most breathtaking scenery associated with the production of wine.  It's famously steep terraced vineyards recall a beautiful alien landscape just waiting to be explored.  Well, we'll explore them a bit at this week's Tasty Tuesday!  After all, what better place might we hope to visit just as cold weather starts to dig in its heels than the origin of the wine world's quintessential winter warmer, Port?  So, join us on the eighth as we sample two dry, unfortified Douro reds and a powerfully delicious Port guaranteed to put a bit of color back in your cheeks!

And don't forget:
Tasty Tuesday 20%
Mixed Case Discount!
After you taste, put together 12 bottles from our Tasty Tuesday lineup, and we'll take an entire 20% off!

Brigitta Steininger Join us this Saturday as we welcome a very special guest behind our tasting bar.  Brigitta Steininger will be presenting four of her family's diverse yet simultaneously very specialized wines from Kamptal, Austria.  This very Grüner-centric line up is bursting with elegance, minerality, flavor, and fun.  We'll begin with an enormously crowd-pleasing white with which many of us are already very familiar, the estate's "Young."  Next, we'll check out two stellar reminders of just why and how the Grüner Veltliner grape has taken the wine world by storm with increasing momentum throughout the course of the past decade.  We'll finish on a very memorable note with an example of Weingut Steininger's most renowned specialty: fine Austrian sekt (sparkling wine, in this case made from the nation's star varietal, Grüner).  Prost!
