We are so excited to have landed in Israel! We are happily checked into the Dan Jerusalem and everyone enjoyed a great dinner. Tomorrow we are off to Yad Vashem.

We had good flights despite a short connection time in Philadelphia. The good news is that we came across some spectacular folks who worked for the airport or the airlines. There were several people who made things so much easier for us. We ran to the gate in Philly and, of course, had to go through secondary security screening before we left for Israel. At that moment, one of our residents let us know that he did not have a boarding pass for Israel! An airline staff person saw our distress and ran down to get another boarding pass for us!

Everyone did well with the traveling and we are thrilled to be here!
