Class of 2014 Commencement & Celebration
The 76 members of the Class of 2014 enjoyed a commencement ceremony on June 12th full of reminiscing and joy. After an introduction by Upper school Co-Head Scott Mattoon and 12th-grade faculty team leader Melissa Sullivan, Senior Class President Parker Lawlor and Student Body Vice President Rachel Perelman warmly recalled experiences from each of the class's six years at the school. Student Body President Louisa Ballif thanked faculty members for their commitment and compassion, before introducing Head of School Dr. Bob Ogle, who applauded the seniors' spirit of togetherness and their propensity toward asking the sorts of inquisitive, thoughtful questions that drive education and innovation. The presentation of diplomas and reading of the class's senior statement, was bookended by beautiful renditions of "I Will" and "Blessing" by the Pacific Ridge A Capella ensemble and graduation chorus. Congratulations, graduates!
