Middle School Travel Programs are Underway!
Pacific Ridge Middle Schoolers are busy exploring locales on both coasts of the United States this week. Seventh graders are studying field science at Nature Bridge in the Santa Monica mountains, learning about the area's watershed from its hills to its tide pools. In Washington, D.C., eighth graders have visited Mt. Vernon, toured the memorials and enjoyed a highly educational visit to House and Senate sessions at the Capitol. They have also demonstrated superb travel etiquette along the way. Mr. Mattoon reports that employees at the Hard Rock Cafe deemed our students the most polite of the dozens of school groups they encounter each week!
