A myriad of factors are prompting IT organizations to streamline and, in some case, completely reengineer their IT service management processes. Examples include reducing cycle times, automating workflow and expanding value streams to include customers and suppliers. But who ensures that process design and improvement activities achieve the desired outcomes? 

 

Enter...the process owner. A process owner is the individual accountable for the performance of a process and for ensuring the process delivers value to its stakeholders. Applying Agile values and practices such as Scrum ensures processes are incrementally designed with "just enough" control to be effective and efficient. Want to learn more? 

 

This 16 hour course describes process owner responsibilities, the characteristics of agile processes, and how to use Agile Service Management practices - such as managing and prioritizing a process backlog - to continually align process performance with overall business strategies and goals.

The increasing need for DevOps

Before we roll out new lines of training, we do our research.  We want to be at the forefront of what's important to you, and have come across this great article we wanted to share with you.

ITIL Foundation now on the Learner Portal
For some time, our ITIL Foundation class has been our only class not offered on our Learner Portal.   Starting with our August 24th Foundation class -- this will not longer be the case!  Now, every class that you take with ITSM Academy will grant access to our learner portal.
